Mission :
Create detailed project drawings for powder, wet spray and e-coat paint systems that delivers superior quality and value to our customers.
Essential Functions

- Review and analyze customer specifications, project proposals, budgets, and schedules.
- Consults regulatory and safety standards during the drafting phase.
- Utilize Computer Aided Design and Drafting systems to develop detailed design drawings of GKS equipment according to GKS and ISO design standards.
- Identify and resolve design problems and / or operating deficiencies.
- Compute dimensions of materials and purchase accordingly.
- Ensure drawing releases to manufacturing or subcontractors are clear, and error free. Answer questions accordingly.

Physical, Mental and Environmental Requirements :
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
1. Employee is required to stand, walk, climb, sit and use hands and fingers.
2. Some light lifting of objects is required (i.e. 40 pounds at most).
3. Ability to climb, bend, and fit into confined spaces while measuring / inspecting.
4. Reaching, grasping and carrying activities also required.
5. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
6. Although most work is performed inside, occasional outside activities are subject to seasonal temperature fluctuations.
Travel
Less than 5% travel - ability to travel to various locations within the organization and to customer sites; domestic and international.
