Job Description :

Poll Sound is seeking an AV Project Engineer that is excited about growing in the AV industry with Utah’s expert in sound and audio / visual systems. The right candidate will have a passion for sound and AV, love drawing, solving problems, and learning new technologies. The job will consist of reviewing estimates, bids, and designs for accuracy, putting together submittal packages including all the shop and coordination drawings, and coordinating projects from start through commissioning. It will involve working closely with sales engineers, job foreman, and lead techs to ensure all problems that arise on the job are quickly resolved. The projects will range from small conference rooms to large stadiums and arenas.

Job Responsibilities and Skills :

• Experience with drafting and all types of construction documents.
• Self-motivated and dependable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Deep understanding of how sound and AV systems work.
• Detail oriented.
• Knowledge of construction.
• Checks and submits equipment lists for ordering.
• Forecasts and tracks equipment timing.
• Commissioning of projects.
• Putting together submittals and as-builts.
