Talus Group Holdings LLC (“Talus”) is a private investment firm that backs operators looking to buy, build, and operate businesses that have long-term growth potential. We provide patient and flexible capital, industry-leading lean capabilities that drive operational improvements, and plug-and-play corporate support on an as-needed basis.
The Sourcing Associate will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and sourcing potential acquisition targets. This role involves market research, analyzing industry trends, maintaining relationships with investment banks, private equity firms, and other key stakeholders to help identify opportunities that align with the company’s strategic goals.
Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and evaluate potential merger and acquisition opportunities through targeted outreach, networking, and relationship-building efforts.
- Develop and maintain relationships with business owners, entrepreneurs, intermediaries, and other deal sources to generate a consistent deal flow pipeline.
- Collaborate with the corporate development team to understand strategic priorities and develop targeted outreach strategies to source actionable deal opportunities.
- Track and manage deal pipeline activity, including maintaining databases, tracking interactions, and updating deal status reports.
- Prepare and present deal sourcing updates and recommendations to the corporate development leads.
Desired Experience and Qualifications
The annual base salary range for this role is $65,000 - $85,000 with uncapped commission opportunity.
