Pay Range : $40 - $45 Per Hour on W2

Job Summary :

We are seeking two highly skilled Supplier Sourcing Engineers for our Newark, CA location to join our dynamic team immediately, for a project spanning approximately 15 weeks at a competitive hourly rate. The ideal candidate will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to source and manage suppliers, ensuring the production of high-quality parts in line with Lucid's expectations and timelines. This role involves extensive negotiation, supplier assessment, and management of engineering changes, requiring travel 15-25% of the time to conduct business and program reviews with suppliers.

Key Responsibilities :

Collaborate with various teams to identify and source qualified suppliers, create and analyze RFQs, and negotiate favorable contracts.
Manage supplier development, part availability for prototypes, and production, including addressing delays and problems.
Maintain supplier relationships, act as point of contact for commercial issues and report on sourcing status, parts availability, and cost.
Perform supplier assessments, audits, and site inspections; develop and drive implementation of process improvement plans.
Travel to supplier sites for business reviews and program oversight.

Must-Have Skills :

Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, JIRA, Confluence, and ERP systems (SAP or equivalent).

Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills
