Strategic Sourcing Category Manager

Job Description

Cintas is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Category Manager to be responsible for developing the sourcing strategy to meet the needs of internal customers and stakeholders. Responsibilities include using critical negotiating and competitive bidding skills to deliver cost control and reduction with current and prospective suppliers; managing supplier contracts and continuous supplier performance evaluation relative to business needs and market conditions; analyzing category spend to initiate restructuring of vendor base to achieve cost savings goals; seeking continuous improvement to drive innovation for all products within assigned product categories.

Skills / Qualifications

Required :

• High school diploma / GED; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook) and intranet / internet

The range takes into account factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, and other business and organization needs.
