Job descriptionLead IT hardware and software procurement efforts, ensuring compliance with federal acquisition regulations (FAR). Conduct price analysis by benchmarking vendor pricing against industry standards (e.g., GSA) to ensure fair and competitive rates. Perform financial analysis on procurement spending, category management strategies, and cost optimization. Utilize procurement systems such as Ariba (preferred) and PeopleSoft, along with Excel for financial reporting and analysis. Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple departments, managing 13-16 procurement projects simultaneously. Develop and implement strategic procurement initiatives, optimizing vendor contracts and consolidating procurement activities. Maintain vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and oversee procurement compliance within a regulated environment. IT Procurement Experience - Strong expertise in IT hardware and software procurement. Federal Contracting Experience - Knowledge of FAR regulations and federal contracting processes. Price Analysis Skills - Ability to benchmark pricing and conduct cost evaluations. Financial Analysis - Experience in procurement-related spend data analysis and category management. Procurement Systems Familiarity : Strategic Thinking - Ability to develop procurement strategies and improve processes. Experience with IT Services Procurement - Not required, but beneficial. Healthcare or Insurance Background - A plus, though federal contracting experience is more critical. Category Management Strategy Experience - Knowledge of vendor portfolio management and contract optimization. This is a fully Remote Role. The pay range is $55-57 / hr.
