Proficiency in SAP, E-Procurement platforms, and digital payment platforms.
Job Description
Our client, a leading provider of American-produced liquefied natural gas (LNG), is looking for an experienced Sourcing & Contracts Specialist to join our Procurement team based in downtown Houston . This role involves sourcing third-party goods and services for our operations, ensuring quality, delivery, and cost-effectiveness.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct RFx and bidding processes independently to minimize risk and maximize value.
- Execute sourcing plans to secure supply and minimize disruptions, following the Annual Contracting Plan.
- Lead negotiations of terms and conditions with limited Legal support.
- Utilize sourcing best practices to lead initiative and project teams efficiently.
- Assist stakeholders in developing scope of work and conduct spend analysis to inform sourcing initiatives.
- Collaborate with Asset-level Procurement staff on sourcing initiatives.
- Maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, challenging inefficiencies, and identifying strategic sourcing opportunities.
- Monitor supplier performance and contract activity to drive cost savings and improve supplier performance.
