Staff Management : Train and supervise kitchen staff, maintaining culinary standards and fostering a collaborative team environment. Menu Development : Collaborate with the Executive Chef to create and customize menus to meet residents' dietary preferences and restrictions. Quality Control : Ensure food meets Spring Hills' luxury dining standards for quality, consistency, and presentation. Sanitation & Safety : Enforce strict food safety and cleanliness protocols in compliance with health regulations. Inventory & Equipment Management : Assist in inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining kitchen equipment. Collaboration : Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure smooth meal service. Culinary Expertise : Strong background in fine dining or luxury kitchens (5-star restaurants, luxury hotels, private clubs). Leadership : Proven ability to lead and develop kitchen staff in a fast-paced environment. Attention to Detail : Focused on quality, creativity, and precision in food preparation and presentation. Problem-Solver : Ability to proactively address challenges and maintain efficient kitchen operations. Strong Communication : Clear communicator with the ability to collaborate across teams. Required : High School Diploma or GED; Culinary degree preferred. Required : Minimum 3 years of experience in high-end culinary roles, with 1-2 years in a supervisory capacity. Preferred : Experience with specialized diets for senior residents. Certifications : Food safety certification required.
