Nine is seeking to hire a passionate, motivated, professional Sous Chef who is eager to learn and contribute ideas. Ideal candidates must be career and food driven, humble, dependable, and desire for constant development of themselves and team members. Refined food preparation techniques and execution is a must. Knowledge of food safety, food cost controls and inventory management are strongly preferred.

Essential Functions :
- Oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, presentation, and service
- Communicate professionally and confidently with guests, employees, vendors, and leadership
- Develop and implement creative menus that highlight French Cuisine alongside our CDC
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen spaces and stations
- Ability to complete shift work, as assigned, timely and thoroughly
- Provide consistent coaching and support for all hourly employees, and possess the ability to fill into any BOH hourly position
- Prepare and present the CDC with nightly orders for the following day
- Steward of Nine’s handbook policies, procedures, and core values
