Summary
The Ash Group is hiring a Planner (Planner I / Entry Level) for our client ( a high-tech aerospace and defense contractor delivering complex technology solutions for national security and space exploration ) based onsite in Colorado Springs, CO . This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional with 0-2 years of experience to gain footing in the Aerospace & Defense industry. You will assist with planning and scheduling the movement of materials through production, utilizing MRP / ERP systems and Excel to ensure smooth operations.
Role Details
- Compensation : Competitive pay rate of $26 per hour.
- Benefits : Medical, dental, vision, and direct primary care benefits. After six months of employment, enjoy a 4% matched 401(k) plan with immediate 100% vesting.
- Duration : 8-month contract with potential for extension or conversion.
- Location : 100% Onsite in Colorado Springs, CO
- Assist with planning and scheduling the movement of raw materials, parts, components, and finished goods through the production and inventory process.
- Implement the master production plan through the material management system to execute program and product life cycles.
- Troubleshoot potential scheduling problems and track production and material deficiencies.
- Work within Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
- Participate in the engineering change process and interpret technical schematics or diagrams as needed.
- 0-2 years of relevant experience (Supply Chain, Logistics, or Operations Management preferred).
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or Logistics is a plus (related experience may substitute).
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Basic understanding of Master Production Planning and familiarity with MRP / ERP systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical schematics, diagrams, and blueprints.
- Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry or familiarity with FAR / DFAR regulations is a plus.
