Job Posting : Sales Planner
Responsibilities
- Develop seasonal sales, inventory, and receipt plans by Classification that align with assigned account financial targets and productivity metrics
- Build + maintain a rolling 18-month style-color sales, inventory, receipt and shipment plan for each area of business to support product selection in the market
- Work autonomously with the account executive, replenishment managers, & with the assigned account buyers and planners. Meet weekly / monthly based upon business needs.
- Leverage weekly business insights to understand item level performance to maximize in season opportunities, minimize liability, and inform future seasons
- Analyze sales trends and adjust based upon historical results & current POS (point of sales) performance
- Prepare documents for monthly consensus meetings. Provide analysis and explanations of all recommended changes to sales, inventory, receipt and ship plans.
- Lead presentation & influence alignment amongst peers within merchandising, sales, & supply planning teams of monthly consensus meeting POS (point of sales) forecast changes and inventory strategies
- Participate in regular meetings and strategic discussions to provide input on merchandise planning strategies
- Standard and ad hoc reporting; administrative duties
