A Special Education Teacher position is available for an elementary school setting in Kansas City, KS. This role is contracted for the full school year and focuses on providing tailored educational support to students with special needs.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students unique requirements.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to enhance student learning and development.
- Use specialized instructional strategies to engage students and accommodate diverse learning styles.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting teaching methods as necessary.
- Manage classroom behavior and create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
