A school district in Brockton, MA is seeking a Special Education Teacher to support middle school students. This contract position is for the current school year (CSY) and focuses on delivering specialized instruction tailored to students with diverse learning needs.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in accordance with student needs and legal requirements
- Provide direct instruction and support to middle school students with disabilities
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to foster an inclusive learning environment
- Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as necessary to meet educational goals
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to student performance and services
