Description
Join our dynamic team by working exclusively at our administrative office in Albuquerque, NM. Your presence on-site is essential for this role. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 : 30am—5 : 30pm, and Rotating Saturdays, 9 : 00am—1 : 15pm.
OVERALL JOB PURPOSE :
The duties and responsibilities of the Collector position include but are not limited to :
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Collects past due loan payments in accordance with policies and practices
- Ascertains reason for delinquency, counsels and work with members to cure delinquent accounts by making payment arrangements enlisting cooperation of member
- Performs skip tracing
- Markets repossessions
- Recommends accounts for charge off
- Makes recommendations for extension agreements and loan modifications
- Maintains accurate and current records of collection activity
- Investigates credit bureau disputes
