Description Special Police Officers (SPO's) will provide protective services for the patients, families, staff, and property of Children's National Health System (CNHS). As directed, CNHS SPO's respond to emergency situations while enforcing the established hospital policies and in accordance with the laws of the District of Columbia. Department personnel must maintain a tactful and courteous demeanor in the exercising of duties. Will perform access control using state of the art technology in order to ensure the safety of patients. Will perform security patrols of entire campus to proactively identify risks to the hospital.
