Position Title : Speech-Language Pathology : Assistant / Associate / Full Professor
Summary : Grand Valley State University (GVSU) in Grand Rapids, Michigan is currently accepting applications for a full-time twelve-month tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant / Associate / Full Professor in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders to support graduate and undergraduate SLP programs. Our programs give emphasis to interprofessional education, diversity / equity / inclusion / justice, and student-centered learning. This is an exciting opportunity for innovative and motivated individuals who appreciate an integrated academic and clinical program and have a desire to educate tomorrow’s professionals.
Required Qualifications and Education :
- Doctoral degree in speech-language pathology or related discipline (Ph.D.; ABD considered with degree completion prior to start date)
- Area of expertise that complements current faculty
- Evidence of effective teaching and willingness to integrate academics with clinical education
- ASHA certification with experience in direct clinical practice
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
