Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the 2026-2027 school year at a K-8 school in New Orleans, LA. This onsite contract position offers a rewarding chance to support students communication needs within a dynamic educational setting.

Key Details :

  • Location : New Orleans, LA
  • Schedule : Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
  • Job Duration : 2026-2027 school year
  • Caseload Options : PreK-8th grade with 5060 students 4th-8th grade with approximately 55 studentsCandidates should specify their preferred caseload when applying.
  • Onsite presence required
  • Open to Clinical Fellows (CF)

Responsibilities :

  • Conduct speech and language assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide direct therapy to students
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with school district requirements
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to building a positive learning environment
  • Qualifications :

  • Valid SLP certification applicable for schools
  • CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) preferred but not required; Clinical Fellows encouraged to apply
  • Experience working with school-age children from PreK through middle school
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage a caseload of 50+ students effectively
