A leading acute care hospital located in southeast Florida is now seeking an experienced Outpatient Speech Language Pathologist to join their award-winning healthcare team. This not-for-profit acute care hospital is home to more than 400-beds and provides a wide variety of inpatient and outpatient services. This location is known for its expert care in a number of specialties including cardiovascular, oncology, women's health, perioperative services, emergency medicine, and neurosciences. This hospital is also a designated Comprehensive Stroke Center. Under limited supervision, the Speech Language Pathologist will provide direct speech and language therapy services prescribed by a referring physician in an outpatient care setting. The Speech Language Pathologist will also evaluate care plans, monitor patient performance and design personalized treatments, participate in quality control and performance improvement activities, identify needs of improvement within the speech therapy department, assist in patient scheduling and patient follow up, and participate actively in the hospital infection control and patient safety programs.
- What's Needed to Succeed :
- Certified Speech Language Pathologist
- Licensed to work in the state of Florida or ability to obtain
