What We Need :

The Black Information Network is seeking experienced anchors / reporters to provide coverage of sports at historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs). This role is ideal for a journalist who understands the culture and competitive significance of HBCU sports and can deliver compelling, high quality content to a national audience. We welcome candidates from all backgrounds who bring strong reporting skills and commitment to inclusive storytelling.

What You'll Do :

Anchor HBCU sportscasts for multiple markets.

Write clear, concise sports copy.

Produce, edit and write content for BIN News.

Gather audio from press conferences, live events and partner TV stations.

Produce short-form reports (voicers / wraps) for anchors on the following shift.

May be called on to anchor breaking news reports as needed.

What You'll Need :

Familiarity with HBCU sports divisions, rivalries and culture.

Extensive on-air background.

Proficient in media production and broadcast systems.

Ability to plan and organize, set priorities, and multitask in a fast-paced environment.

2+ years' experience in on-air journalism / sports reporting.

Salary to be determined by multiple factors including but not limited to relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and alignment with market data.
