Truck Purchasing Manager | Remote full time

Key Responsibilities :
- Procurement Strategy : Develop and implement effective purchasing strategies for acquiring trucks and related equipment. Analyze market trends to identify cost-effective solutions that meet the company’s needs.
- Supplier Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with truck manufacturers, dealers, and suppliers. Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to secure favorable terms and ensure reliable supply chains.
- Market Research : Conduct thorough market research to stay informed about new truck models, technologies, and pricing trends. Evaluate the competitive landscape to inform purchasing decisions.
- Inventory Oversight : Monitor inventory levels of trucks and related equipment to ensure that procurement aligns with operational demands. Develop and maintain an efficient inventory management system.
- Cost Analysis : Analyze total cost of ownership, including maintenance, fuel efficiency, and resale value, to make informed purchasing decisions. Prepare financial reports and forecasts related to truck procurement.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Collaborate with other departments, such as operations, finance, and logistics, to ensure that purchasing decisions support overall business objectives.
