Role : Oracle and SQL DBA with Production Support Experience

Job Description :

A proven DBA who is enthusiastic in providing support and managing SQL Server and Oracle Databases. Able to plan, install, path & upgrade various oracle database versions. Should have strong analytical and communication skills.

12+ Years' experience in database administration, operations, and production support.

Experience in Monitoring, backup / Recovery Management, DB Provisioning / de-provisioning, DB refresh / restore, HA / DRE, Patching, migration, replication, and upgrades.

Understanding of Incident Management, Problem Management, and Change Management.

Ability to document solutions and train operational teams.

Experience in Operating System(s) Windows / Linux / AIX along with Shell scripts.

Tool Knowledge - Oracle Enterprise Manager, Toad for Oracle, Remedy ITSM, SQL SSMS

Experience in Oracle Database hands on experience in administration & management of different versions and upgrades from 10g, 11g, 12c to 19c and SQL Server 2012 to 2019

Experience in back up / restoration policies and strategies hands on experience in taking backups / scheduling - RMAN ASM AD Utilities DB patching refresh / cloning etc.

Oracle quarterly Security Patch Installation, SQL server service packs, security patch across SQL environment

Creates and maintains enterprise databases required for development, testing and production usage.

Leads Installation of new versions of the Oracle, SQL server (2012 to 2019) and other integrated tools that access the Oracle database.

Undertaking Installation, upgrades, migrations, and patch management of Database. This includes environment to standalone, cluster (multi node).

Good exposure on migrating DTS / SSIS packages to new SQL server 2016 is required

Have exposure to Disaster Recovery / DR Drills.

Should be ready to work on P1 incidents outside business hours if need arises

Experience with Amazon Web Services and Amazon RDS is a plus.

Technical Skills :

Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent

Hands-on knowledge on MS-SQL DBA & Oracle DBA

Knowledge of MySQL at DBA level
