Job Title : Staff Accountant

Job Summary :

We are looking for a highly accountable and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate is proactive, analytical, and committed to accuracy. This role will report directly to the Corporate Controller.

Additional Information :

This role will observe a 5 day in office model and be based in Round Rock, TX.

Key Responsibilities :

• Ensure accuracy and compliance in daily accounting processes, including reconciliations, journal entries, and documentation.
• Review general ledger details for completeness and financial accuracy, addressing discrepancies proactively.
• Monitor account activity and identify unexpected fluctuations, investigating root causes.
• Post transactions to the general ledger via sub-ledger entries (accounts payable, asset management, etc.), ensuring compliance with accrual accounting principles.
• Import credit card transactions after validating supporting receipts and correct categorization.
• Respond promptly to ad-hoc requests, providing insightful financial analysis.
• Process Accounts Payable payments through system.

Required Qualifications :

• Minimum 1-3 years of accounting experience.
• Bachelors degree in accounting / finance.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to learn quickly and effectively are critical.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.

• Sage or NetSuite Experience
• Bill.com / Divvy Credit Card platform
• Payroll platforms (ie - Paylocity, ADP)
• Banking platforms (ie - Chase Connect)
