Poda Tex Foods is seeking friendly, reliable, and versatile individuals to join our team as Kitchen and Cashier Staff. In this dual role, you will assist with food preparation and kitchen duties while also providing excellent customer service at the cash register. Key Responsibilities :

Kitchen Duties :

Assist in the preparation and cooking of food following restaurant guidelines.

Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen, including washing dishes and cleaning prep areas.

Prepare ingredients and ensure food is served according to health and safety standards.

Assist with restocking and inventory management in the kitchen.

Cashier Duties :

Greet customers in a friendly manner and take orders accurately.

Operate the cash register and handle payments (cash, credit, and mobile payments).

Assist customers with menu selections and answer any questions about our offerings.

Ensure the front-of-house area is clean, organized, and well-stocked.

Handle customer service inquiries and resolve any issues efficiently.

Qualifications :

Previous experience in either a kitchen or cashier role is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.

Experience in preparing Nigerian dishes, a plus but not required

Ability to work efficiently in both the kitchen and customer-facing areas.

Strong multitasking and organizational skills.

Friendly and positive attitude with excellent customer service skills.

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift items up to 50 lbs.

Must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
