Job descriptionPlan and execute audits and review procedures for governmental and non-profit clients ensuring accurate financial statement preparation Collaborate directly with Partners and Managers to address client and engagement management issues effectively Establish clear and concise communication with clients' internal accounting and auditing departments to ensure exceptional service provision Strengthen existing client relationships and identify opportunities for new business development Provide guidance and mentorship to staff accountants to cultivate a collaborative and educational work environment Conducting audits and review procedures for a diverse client base Collaborating with Partners and Managers to strengthen client relationships and explore new business opportunities Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required) 1+ years in external audit within public accounting or a blend of governmental public accounting and GAAP financial statement review / compilation (preferred) Strong grasp of governmental accounting and auditing standards Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and maintain accuracy Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Must have a personal vehicle for client site visits, meetings, or seminars, with frequent daily travel and occasional overnight stays
