We are currently seeking a Staff Engineer to be based out of our San Diego office. Miyamoto International is among the nation's fastest growing structural engineering companies. Minimum Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in structural engineering curricula or related field
- EIT / Fundamentals of Engineering certification desirable
- 0-3 years of relevant structural engineering experience; building design experience with OSHPD and DSA structures desirable; Intern experience and / or Cal Poly-Miyamoto SESH preferred
- Basic structural analysis and design skills knowledge of steel, concrete, masonry, and timber
- Advanced analysis with ETABS, SAP, and Ram Steel desirable
- Strong analytical and communications skills; client relations / business development desirable
- Self-Motivated and conscientious work ethic

The salary range for this position is $32.00 - $33.00 per hour. Salary offers are determined using a variety of factors, including but not limited to : years of experience, education, depth of knowledge, geographic location, and equity with internal staff.
