We are seeking a talented and motivated Communications Coordinator to join our dynamic team. As a Communications Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our organization's visibility and engagement with our stakeholders. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing communication strategies that effectively convey our mission and initiatives to a diverse audience.
Key Responsibilities :
Develop and implement communication strategies to promote organizational programs and initiatives.
Create, edit, and publish content for various channels including social media, newsletters, and websites.
Coordinate media outreach and maintain relationships with journalists and media outlets.
Organize and promote events that enhance community engagement and awareness of the organization's mission.
Monitor and analyze communication metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of strategies and campaigns.
Assist in the creation of marketing materials, brochures, and presentations to support outreach efforts.
Qualifications & Skills :
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
Proven experience in a communications or public relations role, preferably in a nonprofit or related setting.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
Proficient in using social media platforms and content management systems.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
