Overview

Join Pacer Group as a driven Business Development Specialist committed to elevating our client acquisition and market growth efforts. This exciting remote role focuses on identifying and securing new business opportunities while building valuable relationships in the staffing and workforce solutions industry. If you’re a proactive sales professional with a proven track record in B2B sales, particularly in staffing and recruitment solutions, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

  • New Business Development (New Logo Acquisition)
  • Pinpoint and acquire new clients across diverse industries including technology, healthcare, manufacturing, and professional services.
  • Utilize cold calls, networking, referrals, and industry events to cultivate leads and maintain a robust sales pipeline.
  • Devise and implement a strategic outreach plan to engage key decision-makers and effectively showcase our staffing solutions.
  • Craft and present persuasive sales proposals that directly address client workforce challenges.
  • Negotiate contracts and finalize deals, fostering long-term partnerships and facilitating revenue growth.
  • Market Expansion & Strategic Sales Growth
  • Conduct thorough research on market trends, competitive landscapes, and industry demands to optimize sales strategies.
  • Maintain a comprehensive database of potential clients to ensure ongoing sales opportunities.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to identify unexplored markets and tailor outreach initiatives accordingly.
  • Represent Pacer at industry events and professional gatherings to enhance brand visibility and outreach.
  • Client Engagement & Relationship Building
  • Forge and nurture robust relationships with key decision-makers including HR, hiring managers, and procurement contacts.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, offering market insights, hiring trends, and strategic workforce solutions.
  • Conduct introductory meetings and regular client check-ins to ensure alignment and foster enduring partnerships.
  • Support the transition of newly acquired clients to the account management team while remaining engaged to drive growth.
  • Collaboration with Internal Teams
  • Work alongside recruiting and delivery teams to effectively meet and exceed client needs.
  • Provide insights on market conditions, hiring challenges, and recruitment strategies.
  • Coordinate with the sales leadership team to ensure consistent messaging across all business development efforts.
  • Performance Tracking & Sales Metrics
  • Monitor and report on sales pipeline metrics, client acquisition progress, and revenue growth.
  • Consistently meet and exceed key performance indicators, including lead generation and deal closures.
  • Utilize CRM tools (Zoho) to log client interactions and track sales progress effectively.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years in business development, B2B sales, or client acquisition, preferably in the staffing or workforce solutions field.
  • Proven success in prospecting, pitching, and closing deals.
  • Familiarity with MSP programs, contingent workforce solutions, and contract staffing.
  • Strong relationship management skills to engage effectively with HR teams and hiring managers.
  • Results-oriented and driven by achieving sales targets, with excellent negotiation skills.
  • Proficient with CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot), ATS systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Deep understanding of the staffing needs in the Greater Austin area.
