Tetra Tech's Disaster Recovery and Emergency Management Unit is currently hiring for a Staffing Manager.

Job responsibilities :

Staffing and Scheduling Manager manages the development, preparation, and maintenance of staffing models, schedules, and dispatches to guide the operational activities and resources that achieve maximum efficiency and meet output and timeline objectives. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

• Collaborates with internal teams to assess and incorporate materials, inventories, resource availability, and commitments into schedules.
• Monitors progress and develops revised staffing responsive to changes in the flow of resources and business needs.
• Utilizes ERP systems, planning and scheduling software, or other database tools to develop and maintain master schedules.
• Assist in recruiting, screening, and interviewing staff to support projects
• Maintains communications and relationships with staff to stay aware of staff readiness to support deployments
• Ensures the maintenance of updated staff resumes
• Coordinates logistics for staff deployments
• Helps the Department Manager to manage staffing resources across multiple and simultaneous projects and programs
• Supports HR in ensuring that all necessary employment paperwork is completed and up to date
• Ensure maintenance of required staff credentials and training
• Manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs.
• Ensures that project / department milestones / goals are met and adhering to approved budgets.
• Has authority for temporary staff personnel actions.
• Extensive knowledge of the function and department processes.
• Manage a variety of projects related to Post-Event recovery and monitoring services.
• Oversee field staff and facilitate training.
• Assist in daily field staff dispatch.
• Interact as needed with clients, consultants, staff members and strategic partners to accurately document and efficiently recover disaster debris.
• Manage perception by demonstrating a high-level of integrity in all relationships and actions taken on and off duty.
• Produce reports, documents, graphs and other management tools for tracking project process.
• Provide ongoing communication and project management tasks for both client and company use, utilizing a variety of technology to ensure both client satisfaction and project success.
• Presents information on project needs and goals to stakeholders
