Position Summary

• Cash Management – Payment processing, Daily Forecasting and Treasury Management
• Accounts Payable Management– AP Coding, Managing Beanworks (automated OCR AP system).
• Financial Reporting –preparation of financial statements and other reports as needed.
• Assist in other accounting needs on an as needed basis : AR / AP, Cash Management, Trade Entry, Position Management, Onboarding counterparties, etc.

Required Qualifications

2 years of experience preparing financials for a commodity trading firm.

Skilled in data management using programming languages (Python, VBA, SQL or something similar)

Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Accounting or Finance.

Able to work well under pressure and prioritize workload appropriately.

Maintain a continuous improvement mindset and proactively identify and implement process improvements, including process automation.

Ability to adapt quickly and maintain flexibility regarding ad-hoc projects, revisions to areas of responsibility, and organizational change.

Ability to meet commitments and deadlines, and to work outside of normal business hours when necessary.

Able to process work with accuracy and with strong attention to detail.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Excel.

Ability to concisely communicate information to coworkers, both written and oral.

Willingness to accept constructive feedback.

Ability to keep sensitive information confidential.

Ability to work well in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Specific prior industry knowledge within Natural Gas Liquids, Physical Ethanol trading, Physical Chemical trading and Physical Crude trading.

Microsoft Power BI data mining of large data sets.
