Job description

Company Description

Solid Waste Equipment, is a family owned company. We rent, sell and maintain commercial waste equipment. We cover Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri and South Dakota.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Service Technician at Solid Waste Equipment. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on commercial compactors, balers and containers. You will also provide technical support and ensure equipment functionality and safety.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in industrial equipment maintenance and repair
  • Strong mechanical and technical skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Physical stamina and strength for lifting and moving equipment
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus
  • Must be proficient in English
