Blazel is a VC-backed AI startup that automates personal branding for founders and executives online. We turn interviews and internal material into high-impact LinkedIn posts and other online content. We’re led by the founder of Vungle ($780M exit), backed by top-tier investors, and building out our local team in the Bay Area. The Role We’re hiring a hands-on Content Writer to own content quality across all channels. You’ll edit and polish AI-generated drafts, shape messaging and tone, and ensure every piece feels founder-authored and client-specific. You’ll also manage and coach our offshore writing team in India, enforcing standards and workflows that scale. This is a high-impact, in-office role reporting directly to the CEO (for now until we scale). You'll help define the voice of our clients and give feedback to our AI Engineers so they can improve our models. What You’ll Do Own the quality bar for all content delivered to clients (primarily LinkedIn posts, later expanding to blogs, newsletters, PR, etc.) Edit, rewrite, and refine AI-generated content so it reads like it was written by the specific client Listen to client interviews or synthesize client materials to create editorial briefs and tone guides Build systems to track client satisfaction, editorial success, and style consistency Manage and review an offshore writing team, ensuring content matches tone, accuracy, and narrative goals Collaborate closely with engineers and product to improve AI outputs over time You Should Have 5+ years of experience in content marketing, editing, or journalism A strong editorial voice and the ability to mimic different writing styles Experience managing writers or editors and enforcing editorial guidelines Deep familiarity with LinkedIn and B2B tone, ideally in SaaS, AI, or venture-backed startups Strong judgment around brand, tone, and what “good” content feels like Excitement about working with AI tools and improving them via human feedback Experience writing linkedin posts Nice to Have Technical writing background (AI, infra, SaaS) Familiarity with LLMs, prompt editing, and AI content pipelines Seniority level
