Job Description
Do you have experience in procurement and contract management? The GovOps Division of Purchasing & General Services is seeking a new State Contract Analyst to play a critical role in achieving the division's mandated purpose of establishing State of Utah Cooperative Contracts for public entities to use and to ensure that executive branch agencies adhere to the statutory procurement requirements.
Principal Duties
As a State Contract Analyst, your main duties will be to :
- Oversee and manage the procurement functions of assigned cooperative contracts.
- Ensure that state cooperative contracts follow and adhere to the Utah Procurement Code and applicable rules when procured.
- Ensure that best practices in contract management are followed in maintaining State of Utah cooperative contracts.
- Manage State Cooperative Contracts, including establishing and maintaining vendor relationships by serving as a single point of contact for contractual matters for state cooperative contracts.
Note : This recruitment is open to the public, however preference may be given to candidates currently employed with the Utah Division of Purchasing and General Services.

The Division of Purchasing manages over 1100 cooperative contracts for goods and services used by state agencies, local governments and educational entities across the State.
