Job description

About Rivian Rivian is on a mission to keep the world adventurous forever. This goes for the emissions-free Electric Adventure Vehicles we build, and the curious, courageous souls we seek to attract. As a company, we constantly challenge what's possible, never simply accepting what has always been done. We reframe old problems, seek new solutions and operate comfortably in areas that are unknown. Our backgrounds are diverse, but our team shares a love of the outdoors and a desire to protect it for future generations. Role Summary Rivian is seeking a Stock Plan Analyst to manage the day-to-day activities in administering our global equity programs. This position will report to the Director, Equity Programs and the successful candidate will be responsible for hands-on, end-to-end administration of Rivian's global equity plans (which may include stock options, RSUs and ESPP). The ideal candidate will have at least three years of public company experience, expertise using ETrade / EEO platforms and be exceptionally organized, self-motivated, responsible, flexible, deadline-oriented, and resourceful. Responsibilities Manage day-to-day administration of the company's equity programs, including processing grants, daily stock option exercises, and assist with quarterly RSU vests. Maintain accurate data in our stock system by reviewing demographic, income and tax-related data transferred from Workday to EEO via API and flat file integrations. Support employee understanding of equity awards and company programs and policies, and deliver training, education and Q&A responses to new and existing employees. Support SOX compliance by providing documentation for controls testing and participation in SOX walkthroughs. Generate recurring reports for multiple internal and external corporate partners (e.g., Payroll, Tax, Finance, Accounting, and Mobility Tax Vendor), and respond timely to ad hoc data requests. Collaborate with internal Legal, Payroll, Finance, People, and Tax to ensure seamless integration and alignment of equity programs with company policies and objectives. Partner with the company's transfer agent, outside broker service providers, tax vendors and other key equity partners as needed for plan administration and compliance. Cross-train on other equity team processes to serve as back-up, as needed. Qualifications 3 years of relevant experience in administration of global equity plans. Bachelor's degree preferred. Experience utilizing ETrade / EEO platforms preferred. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with an ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and internal / external partners. Demonstrated analytical abilities and intermediate Excel skills. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Pay Disclosure Salary Range for California Based Applicants : $84,600 - $105,800 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law). Benefits Summary : Rivian provides robust medical / Rx, dental and vision insurance packages for full-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Coverage is effective on the first day of employment, and Rivian covers most of the premiums.
