We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Account Manager with B2B sales experience to join our client's team in Cincinnati, Ohio. The ideal candidate will have an interest in, or exposure to, the manufacturing industry. While engineering expertise is not required, the role requires working closely with engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and shipping teams to accurately quote job orders, oversee the production process, and ensure timely delivery to the customer.
This person will proactively communicate with customers, keeping them informed throughout the manufacturing and shipping process. The ability to manage customer expectations and maintain strong rapport is crucial. The position requires excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to navigate complex situations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Act as a liaison between the sales team, engineering, manufacturing, and procurement to ensure the accurate quoting and delivery of job orders.
- Prepare and present technical information to customers, explaining product functionality and services.
- Ensure orders are processed, production standards are met, and products are shipped on time.
- Work with the team to recommend new products and improvements to better meet customer needs.
- Collect and analyze market intelligence to identify customer preferences and buying habits.
- Manage a high volume of orders while maintaining attention to detail and working under tight deadlines.

Pay range is 65-75K base salary with additional bonus / incentive of 3-7k annually.
