Senior Manager Strategic Sourcing Needed for an innovative and well respected Electronic Manufacturer!

150,000 - $165,000 base salary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager Strategic Sourcing to join our dynamic team at a growing Electronic Manufacturer. Our client is renowned for their commitment to innovation, excellence, and fostering a supportive and energetic work environment. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the success of a forward-thinking organization that values its employees and invests in their professional growth.

The Senior Manager Strategic Sourcing will be responsible for developing category strategy and overseeing the tactical purchasing for all direct materials. The candidate will lead a global team and be responsible for growing and mentoring their team. This is an incredible opportunity for a strategic minded leader who values continuous improvement to leverage their skills in a company that has promised growth.

The Senior Manager Strategic Sourcing will have the following responsibilities :

Create and implement category strategy for a variety of electrical and mechanical categories.

Develop and maintain relationships with Contract Manufacturers.

Lead and mentor a global team of Purchasing and Strategic Sourcing professionals.

Vendor management including setting Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) for vendors

Exhibit a commitment to communication at all levels of the organization.

Guide, train, and evaluate employee activities to meet or exceed plan objectives of the segment.

Implement continuous improvement principals to improve processes and drive efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have the following skill set :

Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years relevant experience

Experience with electrical or mechanical categories - experiences with Contract Manufacturers is a must

Excellent communication, organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
