Job Description

Provides legal advice and counsel to Allstate's Claim Department on behalf of Global Litigation group. Collaborates and aligns on strategy, action planning, and communication on matters in litigation with Allstate Claims Department and other areas of Law and Regulation. Proactively provides counsel on emerging legal issues and risk. Counsels Allstate's Claims Department on strategic initiatives and serves as needed to provide legal advice. Provides project management coordination, and collaboration between legal teams within Law and Regulation and and with business clients.

Key Responsibilities

Review litigated claims and develop appropriate strategies for matters assigned.

Collaborate with Client Legal Services, including review of pleadings, discovery responses, expert reports, and other claims file materials to assess risk and develop appropriate trial strategy.

Communicate case status, trends, strategy, and updates to business partners.

Identify legal issues and make strategic recommendations based upon risk analysis in order to drive early resolution and improve cycle time.

Gather facts from client to understand strategic goals and objectives client intends to achieve.

Lead project management initiatives for complex projects, including coordination, and collaboration between legal teams within L&R and with business clients, as appropriate.

Work with business colleagues to develop and implement change.

Education :

4 year Bachelors Degree (Required)

Juris Doctor (Required)

Experience :

5 or more years of experience (Preferred)

Supervisory Responsibilities :

This job does not have supervisory duties.

Compensation

Compensation offered for this role is $85,600.00 - 152,650.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.
