What We Offer
The City and County of Denver offers a competitive salary commensurate with education and experience. The hiring range for this position is $72,000 – $92,000 / year. We also offer generous benefits for full-time employees which include but are not limited to :

Location & Schedule
The City and County of Denver supports a hybrid workplace model. Employees work where needed, at a job site several days a week and off-site as needed. In this position you can expect to work three (3) days in office. For your in-office days, you can expect to work on-site at the Republic Plaza Building (370 17th St., Denver, CO 80202). A 9 / 80 flex option could become available after probation.

DOTI Curbside and Parking (C&P), a team within the DOTI Transportation Operations division, is dedicated to promoting safe and practical access to Denver’s parking and curbside assets through comprehensive management for Denver residents and its visitors. This includes but is not limited to : multiple city-owned public and private off-street parking facilities, more than 6,000 paid parking spaces, thousands of time-limited and otherwise managed parking spaces, and general curb lane access. The team operates several ongoing programs including car share, valet, bike+ parking, accessible parking, and more. The group is responsible for programming changes to the City's curbside management system through reviewing, evaluating, planning, implementing, and maintaining initiatives that promote access to both commercial and residential properties and other activity centers. The staff are leaders in the parking and curbside management field and work through all projects and ongoing programs to support City resiliency, safety and curbside access for all people.
The Curbside and Parking Team is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated On-Street Program Administrator to provide quality customer service to DOTI staff, external Denver residents, business owners, and community partners while balancing a wide range of stakeholder needs. The position reports to C&P’s On-Street Program Manager and is empowered to implement work plans and programs under limited guidance while supporting the overall goals of the team and Transportation Operations Division.
Specifically, as the On-Street Program Administrator, you will :
Act as the technical expert and administrator of all on-going aspects of Denver’s on-street parking and curbside permit programs, including Bike+ Parking, Car Share, Valet and Right of Way Parking Permit Programs.
Issue permit records for customers and serve as the point of contact for programs and as a professional liaison between other City departments.
Ensure ideal level of customer service for curbside programs, operations and 311 Salesforce cases.
Address internal and external customer complaints and inquires by interpreting and explaining City parking policies, procedures, program qualifications and processes to stakeholders, neighborhood and business organizations, internal City staff, and public.
Perform as the subject matter specialist responsible for maintaining and developing program reports and presentations that inform, educate and / or present recommendations on curbside operations and evolving demands.
Coordinate research and analysis as necessary to inform curbside program management and policy-related decisions including but not limited to field visits and investigations, parking rate surveys, reviewing occupancy and utilization data, research of best management practices, designing and facilitating data collection and compilation efforts, and parking-related database management.
Organize and document existing parking and curbside policies, programs, and procedures, and have them available in a central location; propose, evaluate, and implement policies and procedures directly related to permit programs; and monitor changes in zoning, ordinance, policy and other guidelines that are related to parking operations and curbside management.
Utilize data, best practices, and other analysis to formulate recommendations for policy and procedure enhancements to management.
Assist with work order coordination for curbside signage and bike+ parking asset management.
Assist with other transportation and mobility related projects as needed.
What You’ll Bring
Our ideal candidate has some or all the following experience, skills, and characteristics :
Background in Transportation Management, Planning or Parking Operations.
Experience with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio) and Adobe Creative Suite.
Entry level knowledge of GIS, spatial analyses skills, Cartegraph and / or other data and asset-management software.
Willingness and ability to learn new technologies.
Task oriented with ability to pivot between priorities.
Positive attitude, excellent interpersonal skills, and cultural sensitivity in working with people.
Required Minimum Qualifications
Education Requirement : Bachelor's Degree in a related field based on a specific position(s).
Experience Requirement : Three (3) years’ experience performing full performance professional level duties within a specialized, functional area (this does not include clerical experience).
Education / Experience Equivalency : One (1) year of the appropriate type and level of experience may be substituted for each required year of post-high school education. Additional appropriate education may be substituted for the minimum experience requirements.
