Job description
A company is looking for a Senior Structural Designer 1 - Nuclear.
Key Responsibilities
Develop structural physical layout drawings in a 3-D model and generate structural design schematics
Act as the structural design team lead, coordinating detailed design phases and providing guidance to other designers
Plan and execute structural design deliverables independently and as part of a design team
Required Qualifications
Associate's Degree in drafting or a high school diploma with relevant drafting coursework or equivalent technical experience
10 or more years of detailed design experience in structural steel and reinforced concrete design drawings
Proficiency with design software tools for 3D plant layout models
Experience reviewing structural layout drawings for steel frames, concrete members, and supports
Ability to collaborate with engineering and design teams across disciplines in power plant design
