STRUCTURAL ENGINEER - HOLLAND, OH

ON-SITE, NO REMOTE OPTIONS

Our client is a well-established local engineering firm offering services to regional manufacturers and construction companies servicing Ohio for 50+ years. They are searching for a mid-level Structural Engineer to join their Holland, OH office.

Salary :

95-110k per year (flexible / based on experience) + EOY bonus

Job Summary :

You will be collaborating with other engineers in our office completing structural engineering projects involving industrial structures, foundations, mezzanines, structural reinforcing, new buildings, ductwork supporting, and structural applications. We utilize RISA 3-D, Bentley Foundation Advanced, and RAM Structural software for analyzing structures and foundations. The projects are diverse since we work with a number of clients in different industries in the northwest and central Ohio areas. These clients are in the fields of automotive, steel, food, chemical, and climate control equipment.

Responsibilities :

Coordinating with client on their structural, equipment layout, ductwork supporting, and foundation needs.

Review project with the engineer to develop and refine the scope.

Create detail construction drawings consistent with their needs.

Meet with the client to review existing conditions and refine the scope.

Qualifications :

A bachelor’s or associate’s degree in civil or general engineering.

Three to five years of experience.

In depth knowledge and use of AutoCAD.

Reside in or near the Holland, Ohio area.

Basic familiarity with local and state building codes.

Your responsibilities in this project will involve collaboration with structural engineers and fellow designers. This includes the development of structural drawings using AutoCAD for various elements such as structural steel, equipment layouts, stairs, handrails, and platforms.
