SCOPE OF ROLE

The Regal Rexnord Information Technology Internship Program is a fulltime, 10-week paid internship at our Grafton and Milwaukee offices starting June 2025.

We believe in nurturing young talent and providing them with hands-on experience to shape their careers. We are seeking a highly motivated AI Summer Intern to join our team and assist our Chief Data Scientist in driving our digital transformation initiatives. This internship provides an excellent opportunity for a student with a passion for artificial intelligence, data analytics, and technology to gain hands-on experience in a real-world business environment.

This internship will provide students an opportunity to gain a breadth of knowledge and experiences across our IT organization. Beyond the "learn by doing" training structure, the program cultivates excellence in communication skills via formal report-outs to peers and senior Digital and IT leadership and regularly scheduled mentor meetings with program leadership.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with the Chief Data Scientist to analyze business requirements and identify opportunities to leverage data, analytics, and AI for improving various aspects of our operations.
• Assist in designing, developing, and implementing AI models, algorithms, and solutions to address specific business challenges and opportunities.
• Conduct research on emerging trends, tools, and techniques in AI, machine learning, and data science to enhance our capabilities and stay ahead of the curve.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into existing systems, processes, and workflows, ensuring seamless adoption and scalability.
• Support data collection, preprocessing, and cleansing efforts to ensure the quality, accuracy, and reliability of data used for training and validation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather feedback, iterate on solutions, and continuously improve the performance and effectiveness of AI models and applications.
• Assist in documenting processes, methodologies, and best practices to facilitate knowledge sharing and transfer within the organization.
