Job descriptionBasic knowledge in the use of hand tools and power tools Able to follow verbal and written instructions No experience necessary Maintain all safety and code requirements of the State, local, and Board of Education guidelines Be able to work with designated crafts in the work assigned Perform all other duties assigned Tools / Equipment Used : Light truck or van, various tools such as; hand and power tools, and other tools as needed on work assignments. Specialty tools related to specific craft assignments. Posture : Frequent standing; kneeling / squatting, bending / stooping, pushing / pulling, and twisting Motion : Frequent walking and reaching Lifting : Heavy lifting and carrying (50 pounds and over) on a daily basis Environment : Work inside and outside (exposure to sun, heat, cold, and inclement weather); exposure to noise Mental Demands : Work with frequent interruptions; maintain emotional control under stress Professional Dress : Dress must be clean, neat, in a manner appropriate for his or her assignment, and in accordance with any additional standards established by his or her supervisor and approved by the Superintendent. During work hours, visible body piercings (except earrings) will not be allowed. Visible tattoos will be covered at all times. Performance of this position will be evaluated annually
