Job Title: Civil Construction Superintendent

Job Description

The Civil Construction Superintendent oversees and coordinates all civil construction activities on-site, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to manage crews, subcontractors, and resources effectively.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate all civil construction activities on-site.

• Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

• Manage and supervise crews, subcontractors, and resources effectively.

• Interpret and implement blueprints and technical documents.

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols.

Essential Skills

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in civil construction supervision.

• Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and materials.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency in project management software and MS Office.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• OSHA safety certification preferred.

• Experience in project management, electrical, construction, plumbing, and AutoCAD.

• Subcontractor management and safety compliance expertise.

• Experience with earthworks, concrete, grading, and commercial construction projects.

Work Environment

The role offers a schedule of four 10-hour days, allowing you to be home every night. A company vehicle is provided. The work environment includes both office and on-site locations, where adherence to safety standards is paramount.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of West Memphis, AR.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $38.00/hr.
