Job Title : Manufacturing Technician

Pay Rate : $25.00 - $27.23 / hr

Location : Charlotte, NC 28269

Duration : 7 months Contract

M-Thursday 2PM-6PM & Friday 2Pm-11 : 30PM

Supports laboratory functions for production and / or development teams. Responsible for set-up and calibration of test equipment, execution of test procedures, data recording and reporting, and laboratory supply management.

Job Specific Requirements

ONSITE ROLE - 2ND SHIFT

Set-up / Tear-down Tech

Key Responsibilities :

This position is for an Engineering Laboratory Services and Support Technician who is under general supervision. Performs basic to moderately complex set-up and tear down activities of large water-cooled chillers.

Role Purpose :

• Connect and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical and refrigeration systems on Charlotte manufactured equipment.
• Operates, inspects and maintains test setups and equipment to detect malfunctions
• Familiarity with electrical work, including 460-3-60 machinery and medium voltage industrial power supplies.
• Familiarity with HVAC operation, refrigerant handling, and EPA certification is a plus
• Experience with pumps, VFDs, boilers, is a plus
• LO / TO controls troubleshooting and Arc Flash training is helpful
• Works under moderate supervision to support engineering testing of chillers.
• Familiarity with industrial tools
