Job description

Supply Chain Analyst

Staffmark Workforce Solutions offers this exciting contract opportunity at a global leader in electronics, mobile devices, and appliances located in Plano, TX. The main function of a supply chain analyst is to coordinate and expedite the flow of data and reports within or between departments of the company. A typical supply chain analyst is responsible for reviewing and distributing production, work, and shipment schedules and compiling reports on inventory levels, historical sales data, purchase orders, etc.

Responsibilities:

  • Export and examine system-based/customer-provided source data that provides real-time information regarding sales, purchase orders, order forecast, and channel inventory
  • Maintain and update the database master data to ensure proper item/channel mapping to support the data transformation and cleansing process for daily/weekly reports
  • Coordinate with internal teams on weekly production confirmation, ending on hand/aging stock clearance plan, and purchase order tracking
  • Monitor team performance by publishing daily/weekly KPI tracking reports to flag exception cases for early warning to the Business Planning team to proactively drive corrective actions and improvements
  • Support Collaborative Planning, Forecasting, and Replenishment (CPFR) supply chain process by providing internal reports needed for weekly planning meetings
  • Load weekly production, sales, and inventory (PSI)
  • Respond to ad-hoc reporting requests from internal and external customers in a time-sensitive environment
  • Examine documents, materials, and products, and monitor work processes in order to assess completeness, accuracy, and conformance to standards and specifications
  • Review documents such as production schedules, work orders, and staffing tables to determine personnel and materials requirements and material priorities
  • Record production data, including volume produced, consumption of raw materials, and quality control measures
  • Requisition and maintain inventories of materials and supplies necessary to meet production demands

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required in General Business, Sales Operations Management, Supply Chain, Finance, or related fields
  • Minimum 2-4 years' experience preferred in the telecommunications/wireless industry or related fields requiring management of order/sales data, inventory management, and/or business operations
  • Experience should include researching and resolving operational data discrepancies; driving process improvement to streamline business cadence
  • Preferred Skills: Strong analytical and data management skills. Detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced, deadline-driven team environment. The ability to develop and maintain excellent working relationships with all appropriate levels within and outside the company. Ability to work independently with minimal oversight while exercising excellent judgement. Must have advanced MS Excel knowledge and skills (including use of pivot tables and advanced formulas); experience in developing KPI and executive dashboards preferred. Experience using advanced supply chain management, enterprise planning, or financial planning systems (e.g., SAP) preferred.
