ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
mPower Technology is looking to hire an operationally oriented professional for the full-time role of Manager, Supply Chain & Logistics to manage procurement and logistics with mPower’s suppliers and partners. This position will oversee, plan, and implement activities related to the procurement, assembly, and inventory control of space-qualified production materials, ensuring availability of all materials, including long lead items, to meet expanding customer demand.
You will work with external vendors to qualify materials, secure advantageous terms, identify gaps in goods and services, finalize purchase details of orders, track deliveries and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness. You will be expected to collaborate with key mPower functional stakeholders and external contract manufacturers to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company. Additional responsibilities include :
- Supporting operations with shipping, logistics and the implementation of MES / ERP solutions as mPower scales.
- Forecasting all materials
- Working with existing suppliers to discover the best ways to cut material and procurement expenses
- Advancing purchasing processes and purchase order management
