Experienced Supply Chain Specialist

Special Projects of Dallas is seeking a highly motivated Experienced Supply Chain Specialist to serve as Team Lead of the Hardware processing center in Richardson Texas.

The ideal candidate will have a background in logistics supply chain mentorship proposal development procurement and rework & repair of training simulators.

Position Responsibilities :

• Lead and administer post-production requests for quotes containing long lead times high value and / or lengthy bills of material.
• Lead activities for economy of purchases. Lead and monitor customer allocation and delivery schedules and projections for significant customers.
• Lead the analysis of supplier and / or customer data regarding products or services to include repair capabilities capacity and performs assessment of configuration change impact to supply support system.
• Initiate recommendations for repair sourcing decisions. Oversees the processing and documentation of repair items and warranties.
• Conduct supplier / customer presentations and program reviews. Identifies Supply Chain alternatives to resolve obsolescence issues.

This position does not allow telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite.

This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)
