Supply Chain Planner
Rockfon is seeking a Supply Chain Planner, based on-site at our Chicago facility, as part of our Rockfon Purchasing and Planning team. This position reports to the Sr. Manager of Planning and Purchasing.
Job Purpose & Scope : Responsible for maximizing service levels while minimizing inventory levels. Manage production orders and purchase orders for materials release to manufacturing plants to keep the high efficiencies in operations. Maintain the data integrity for the ERP-SAP system.
What You Will Be Doing :
- Ensure smooth and cost-efficient flow of production & goods movement operations.
- Maintains ERP-SAP planning system parameters to efficiently manage inventory targets and material pipeline.
- Achieve or exceed on time shipment (OTS) targets.
- Performs effectively as central planning communication point between customer service and operations groups.
- Uses discretion and independent judgement to communicate decisions to peers and facilitate teamwork.
- Produces solutions to various challenges and problems, and able to connect one issue with the bigger picture.
- Analyses and structures information and communications to meet audience's needs.
