Job Description
DRS is a family-owned restaurant marketing and consulting company, specializing in strategic procurement and supply chain management with teams in both Dallas, TX and San Diego, CA. We currently work with national quick service restaurant brands managing procurement and operations.
We are looking to expand our team with a Supply Chain Operations Specialist in our Dallas, TX office.
The Supply Chain Operations Specialist will be responsible for supporting the supply chain and procurement functions of our team, by driving continuous improvement for developing and maintaining a world class supply chain. This role will have a wide range of responsibilities across all areas of the supply chain, some of which will include preparation and analysis of reports, presentations, contracts, correspondence, data tracking, and compliance management. This role will work directly with suppliers, distributors and corporate teams to help support the development and execution of short-term and long-term initiatives.
This individual will work closely with and report to the Vice President of Operations; however, will collaborate with other team members on a daily basis in order to complete tasks. He or she must possess a collaborative nature and be comfortable working both autonomously and with a small group. A highly motivated focused and positive attitude is essential to this role as working within this industry can often be demanding and challenging, with priorities sometimes shifting at a moment’s notice.
This position can transition to an optional hybrid schedule (3 days in office, 2 days remote) after the initial training period is complete. Full time in office training period is to be completed prior to hybrid schedule. Hours are not flexible, and a set schedule is required for both in office and remote work days.

Responsibilities
- Preparation and analysis of reports, using data to identify issues and pose resolutions to management
- Prepare presentations, correspondence, statistical analysis, and compliance management reports in collaboration with external companies supporting the produce program
- Collection and analyzation of industry / market data for commodities in our portfolio. Expected to maintain basic knowledge of commodities and supply chain challenges
- Support development of RFP requests, supplier recommendations, and selection criteria
- Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance supply chain efficiency, team performance, and data accuracy
- Assess and mitigate supply chain risks including quality issues, compliance and potential outages
