Job descriptionIdentify and implement cost reduction initiatives, leading RFQs from design through realization of savings across direct and indirect procurement categories. Develop and enforce strategies to optimize procurement efficiency and cost savings. Analyze spending patterns to evaluate purchasing trends and ensure compliance with procurement strategies. Monitor and report on pricing fluctuations and assess their impact on business operations. Function as the internal point of contact for specific vendors, supporting functional departments and operations in maximizing supplier relationships. Track and analyze inventory levels across 60+ branch locations, implementing best practices to optimize inventory turnover. Manage consignment and Vendor-Managed Inventory (VMI) programs to ensure compliance and maximize benefits. Develop and implement target stocking strategies at both overall and SKU levels. Forecast future inventory needs by analyzing market trends and demand patterns. Oversee order fulfillment processes to ensure accuracy and timely delivery. Partner with Product Managers and Sales Representatives to execute effective distribution strategies. Provide analytical and operational support to Sales Operations for our specialty distribution business. Utilize data analytics to develop dashboards and generate meaningful insights and recommendations. Evaluate and optimize order, purchasing, and inventory management processes, sharing best practices across the company. Assess and enhance the company's product SKU / Product Information Management (PIM) strategy to align with business goals. Lead project and change management efforts, supporting branches in achieving both specific and overarching objectives. Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Proven experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Operational Excellence, or Consulting. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to drive data-informed decisions. Exceptional negotiation, communication, and relationship management abilities. Proficiency in supply chain management software and analytical tools. Experience in a branch-based business model preferred. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Willingness to travel up to 25% to branch locations and vendor sites.

Position Summary :
RoadSafe has successfully implemented procurement savings and inventory reduction initiatives and is seeking an experienced, results-driven Supply Chain Manager to sustain and expand these achievements. The ideal candidate is a strategic problem solver, self-starter, and collaborative leader with strong analytical skills. This role will leverage core Supply Chain Management principles to drive business objectives across multiple service lines in our diverse, branch-based network, which includes both services and product distribution. Vendor Management :
- Manage and enhance the current vendor management system, identifying and implementing improvements for future scalability.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing vendors.
- Lead and support vendor negotiations to secure favorable terms, conditions, and pricing.
- Monitor adherence to contract terms, track credit and rebate programs, and ensure maximum value realization.
