Job description

Supply Chain Analyst

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century's most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril's family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.

About The Team

The Counterintelligence (CI) Team's mission is to safeguard Anduril's people, assets, operations, and supply chain through proactively understanding, identifying, analyzing and countering threats from insiders and external entities, specifically foreign intelligence services. The CI team helps ensure our security environment remains vigilant and resilient so that our strategic interests are preserved. We are committed to anticipating and mitigating risks and threats enabling Anduril to innovate and operate confidently in a dynamic global environment.

About The Position

Anduril is seeking a professional to support the CI team who is interested in a unique opportunity to help strategize, socialize and implement a CI program which requires significant critical thinking, creativity, complex problem solving and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work across a rapidly growing, global, dynamic organization to identify and mitigate threats. The Supply Chain Security CI Lead is responsible for leading the CI team's support to Anduril's Supply Chain Team and various supply chain security initiatives. The role will involve the development and implementation of analytic efforts and workstreams that integrate across key business processes and stakeholders to proactively identify potential nation state threats to the supply chain to enable rapid mitigation and informed decision making. The Supply Chain Security CI Lead will leverage a variety of internal and external data sets and tools to develop a robust understanding of the threat environment. The Supply Chain Security CI Lead must be a self-starter that can operate independently and be responsive to fast paced and dynamic operational and threat environments. The Supply Chain Security CI Lead must possess an understanding of CI, the ability to identify and analyze complex, sometimes non-obvious relationships, deep understanding of existing regulations and government contract requirements related to the supply chain and a demonstrated ability to effectively communicate complex risks and threats.

What You'll Do

Conduct thorough CI risk assessments and vulnerability analyses on suppliers and subcontractors.

Develop and implement a repeatable, scalable process to ensure appropriate initial CI vetting of all supplier and vendors.

Develop and implement a capability to continuously monitor existing suppliers and vendors for emerging CI risks and threats.

Develop and implement counterintelligence strategies to mitigate supply chain risks.

Assess and identify potential threats to the supply chain related to ITAR / EAR regulations in close collaboration with the Compliance team.

Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure compliance with government contracts.

Monitor and analyze trends in supply chain threats, providing timely reports to management.

Support investigations into supply chain incidents and recommend corrective actions.

Develop training for staff working supply chain issues on supply chain security and counterintelligence best practices.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant data sets, tools, laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Serve as the primary liaison with government agencies regarding supply chain CI security matters.

Create and maintain documentation for supply chain security CI protocols and procedures.

Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to assess supplier security measures.

Conduct regular audits of supply chain processes to ensure CI risk mitigation.

Participate in cross-functional supply chain teams as the CI representative to enhance overall organizational security posture.

Provide expert guidance on emerging nation state threats, evolving TTPs and potential vulnerabilities impacting the supply chain.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Security Management, Intelligence Studies).

Minimum of 8 years of experience in counterintelligence, specifically CI support to supply chain security.

Strong understanding of ITAR / EAR regulations and compliance requirements as well as government contract requirements.

Proven experience with CI risk assessment methodologies and CI threat analysis.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively.

Proven experience leveraging a variety of open source data providers and tools to conduct deep research to identify nation state risk to the supply chain.

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree in a relevant field.

Experience with government contracting processes and compliance audits.

Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices relevant to supply chains.

Familiarity with supply chain risk management software and tools.

Previous experience in a defense contractor environment.
